Welcome to the Woldgate Bus Driving Academy and Depot. As the Depot Manager, it is my privilege to welcome you to our professional training facility. Our mission is to produce the safest, most reliable, and highly competent bus drivers in the United Kingdom.
Commercial driving is the lifeblood of our transit network. Driving an omnibus is not just a job; it is a vital public service requiring extreme precision, patience, and customer service skills. At Woldgate, we offer comprehensive training covering the entire Category D vehicle licensing process, from initial medical checks through to the final Driver CPC Part 4 demonstrations.
We train our cadets in dual-control double-decker vehicles and standard single-decker coaches. We pride ourselves on our 98% pass rate on the Driver CPC practical tests, achieved through our state-of-the-art reversing pad, route simulator classes, and dedicated depot instructors who have over 200 years of combined road experience.
